IT companies:

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., Infosys Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd., Tech Mahindra Ltd., and other IT shares will be in focus after the National Association of Software and Services Companies (Nasscom), Wednesday cut its export revenue growth guidance to 8-10% from 10-12% projected in the beginning of this financial year.

ABB India Ltd:

ABB India Ltd., a technology company, Wednesday announced receiving an order from Alstom to supply 1,600 traction transformers for 800 new electric freight locomotives in India.

Axis Bank Ltd:

Axis Bank Ltd., one of the leading private sector lenders, will be in focus after it cut marginal cost of fund-based lending rate (MCLR) by 15 basis points across all tenures up to 1 year and by 20 bps for 2-year and 3-year tenure, effective from November 18.

Bharti Airtel Ltd:

Bharti Airtel Ltd., India's largest telecom service provider, will be in focus after it announced completion of the merger of its subsidiary Bangladesh telecom unit with Robi Axiata Limited.

Engineers India Ltd:

Engineers India Ltd., a consultant for engineering and turn-key projects, Wednesday said that its fiscal second-quarter net profit rose 21.42% on lower expenses. Net profit stood at Rs 937.50 million in the Jul-Sep quarter compared to Rs 772.10 million in the same period a year ago.

LT Foods Ltd:

LT Foods Ltd., the owner of 'Daawat' basmati rice brand, Wednesday said its fiscal second-quarter consolidated net profit rose 3.9% on higher sales volume. The company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 270 million in the Jul-Sep quarter compared to Rs 260 million in the same period a year ago.

National Aluminium Company Ltd:

National Aluminium Company Ltd. (Nalco) Wednesday informed the stock exchanges that due to unavoidable reasons, the announcement of Q2 results has been deferred.

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd:

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) has recently awarded Sterling and Wilson a Rs 2.5 billion project for extension of substations, transformers & reactors under the North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme-IV & VII spread over five states.


Shipping Corporation of India Ltd:

Shipping Corporation of India, the state-owned company, Wednesday said its fiscal second-quarter loss stood at Rs 200 million compared to net profit of Rs 1.62 billion in the same period a year ago.

Voltas Ltd:

Voltas Ltd., the Mumbai-based construction and engineering company, Wednesday said that its fiscal second-quarter consolidated net profit rose 15% to Rs 744 million.
