TOP INDIAN STOCKS TO WATCH | STOCK MARKET TIPS

Lupin Ltd:

Drug major Lupin Tuesday said it has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market its Armodafinil tablets, indicated to improve wakefulness, in the US market.

National Fertilzer Ltd:

National Fertilzer Ltd., the state-run fertilizer maker, returned to profit during the fiscal second quarter to September 30 on higher sales amid lower feed-stock cost.
The company reported net profit at Rs 465.1 million during the period under review as compared to net loss of Rs 6 million in the corresponding period last year.

Natco Pharma Ltd:

Natco Pharma Ltd., the Hyderbad-based drug maker, will be in focus after the company Tuesday received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approval for generic Armodafinil tablets (50mg, 150mg and 250mg), used as wakefulness promoting agent. Natco and its marketing partner Breckenridge Pharmaceutical Inc. plan to launch this product in USA market immediately.

Pfizer Ltd:

Pfizer Ltd., Indian arm of US drug major Pfizer Inc., Tuesday said it will be launching a series of products as line extensions under the Corex brand name, starting with the first launch in Dec 2016. and subsequent launches over the next year. Pfizer has decided to discontinue the manufacturing of the current Corex Cough Syrup formulation, which recorded sales of Rs 2.44 billion in fiscal year ended March 31, 2016.

State Bank of India Ltd:

State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest lender, has received Competition Commission of India's (CCI) approval for merging Bhartiya Mahila Bank (BMB) with SBI.

Tata Power Company Ltd:

Tata Power returned to profit in the fiscal second quarter ended Sep 30 with consolidated net profit of Rs 3.36 billion against a loss of Rs 958 million in the same period a year ago.

UCO Bank Ltd:

The public sector lender Tuesday said that it has raised Rs 2.70 billion by issuing over 71 million shares to Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) on preferential basis at Rs 37.74 apiece.

Vivimed Labs Ltd:

Vivimed Labs Wednesday said that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has completed the inspection of its Finished Dosage Form making unit in Alathur. The drug maker has witnessed a favourable outcome post the inspection.

Results Today:

Balkrishna Industries Ltd., Man Infraconstruction Ltd.and Punj Lloyd Ltd. Will announce financial results for the fiscal quarter ended Sep 30, 2016.
