Bharti Airtel Ltd:

Bharti Airtel Ltd., the largest listed telecom services provider, will be in focus after it said its subsidiary Network i2i has entered into a definitive agreement with Egyptian firm Orascom to acquire the latter's entire equity stake in Middle East North Africa Submarine Cable Systems for an undisclosed amount.

Essel Propack Ltd:

Essel Propack Ltd., the world's largest tube-packaging company, will be in focus after it informed of raising funds through issue of commercial papers for Rs 200 million on private placement basis.

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd:

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd., the consumer durable products maker will be in focus after making a Kenyan company Charm Industries as its wholly-owned subsidiary by acquiring the rest 49% share for an undisclosed amount.

Jyoti Structures Ltd:

Jyoti Structures Ltd., the provider of turnkey/EPC services in power transmission business, will be in focus after it received an order from ESKOM, the South African utility, for supply of towers and construction of 765 and 400 KV Masa Ngwedi Transmission line Sec C. The order valued at around $ 15 million is to be executed in 18 months.

NHPC Ltd:

NHPC Ltd., the state-run largest hydro power generator, will be in focus after it informed exchanges that it may propose and consider interim dividend on the equity share capital of the company for 2016-17 in its meeting scheduled to be held on Thursday, December 22.
