Bharti Airtel Ltd:
Bharti Airtel Ltd., the largest listed telecom service provider, will be in focus after fiscal third-quarter group profit tanked 65% on lower revenues hit by competition from Reliance Jio.
Bharat Fin Ltd:
Bharat Fin Ltd., the microfinance lender, will be in focus after its fiscal third quarter net profit jumped 79.6% to Rs 1.42 billion on ability to grow loan portfolio steadily. Gross loan portfolio excluding Andhra Pradesh, Telangan registered 38% rise on year to Rs 85.31 billion.
Biocon Ltd., the drugmaker, will be in focus after it reported a 64.55% rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 1.71 billion for the third quarter ended Dec 31, led by robust growth of biologics business. It had posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit from associates of Rs 1.04 billion for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
Crompton Greves Consumer Electricals Ltd:
Crompton Greves Consumer Electricals Ltd., maker of electrical equipments, will be in focus after it posted 39.29% jump in its standalone net profit to Rs 573.6 million for the third quarter ended Dec 31, 2016. It had reported a net profit of Rs 411.8 million in the October-December quarter a year-ago.
Indian Overseas Bank:
Indian Overseas Bank, the state-owned lender, will be in focus after it reported narrowing of its December quarter net loss to Rs 5.54 billion. Its net loss in the corresponding October-December quarter of 2015-16 fiscal was Rs 14.25 billion.
INOX Leisure Ltd:
INOX Leisure Ltd., the multiplex chain operator, will be in focus after it announced profit after tax at Rs 37 million during the fiscal third quarter to Dec 31. The company had reported net profit at Rs 178 million a year ago.
Orient Green Power Ltd:
Orient Green Power Ltd., operator and developer of renewable power plants, will be in focus after it signed MoU with Sindicatum Captive Energy to divest entire stake held in M/s Orient Green Power towards sale of 20 MW co-generation power project in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
PNB Housing Fin Ltd:
PNB Housing Fin Ltd., state-owned home lender, will be in focus after it said net profit jumped 52.8% to Rs 1.38 billion on higher loan demand.
Quess Corp Ltd:
Quess Corp Ltd., the online recruitment service provider, will be in focus after it announced that it will issue debentures having a face value of Rs 1 million aggregating to Rs 1.5 bln.
Siemens India Ltd:
Siemens India Ltd., the power equipment maker, will be in focus after it received order worth Rs 3.66 bln from ONGC.
Syngene International Ltd:
Syngene International Ltd., Biocon's contract research arm, will be in focus after it reported a 11.54% rise in standalone net profit to Rs 744 million for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2016. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 667 million in the year-ago period.
State Bank of Mysore Ltd:
State Bank of Mysore Ltd., the state-owned lender, will be in focus after it reported a loss of Rs 202.5 million for the quarter ended Dec 31, on higher provisioning. It's net profit during the corresponding quarter in 2015-16 was Rs 269.4 million.
Wockhardt Ltd., the drugmaker, will be in focus after it posted a net loss of Rs 194.60 million for the quarter ended Dec, 2016 as compared to profit of Rs 842.40 million.
Zensar Technologies Ltd:
Zensar Technologies Ltd., the software service provider, will be in focus after it reported a 13.26% rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 819.1 million for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2016. The Pune-based firm had posted a net profit of Rs 723.2 million in the year-ago period.
